3X Thursday
1. Are you content with your job? Why/why not?
I am content with my job. I work online at home activating phones for a major cell company, and I have a few online businesses that I run with my hubby.
2. Are you content with your relationship with your significant other? If you don't have one, are you on the lookout for one?
I have one, and am about 70% content. Marriage is something you have to work on every day, and some days, I find myself too busy to work on it at all, and I think I could do a lot to fix it. That is my biggest goal for this year.
3. How about your friends? Are you content with the ones you have, how they treat you, etc? How so/how not?
Well, this may sound strange, but sadly, I have no friends. Having just moved across country a few months ago, I sove right into work and haven't been very social yet. I miss my friends in AZ so much. Give me time, I'm working on it.

The Thursday Threesome ::Kidney stone and herbal remedies::
Onesome: Kidney--beans? Lima Beans? Pinto beans? Which legumes do you like to cook with?
Having grown up in the south, beans were almost a daily dinner. I like all kinds of legumes, but my favorite is white beans (great northerns). I just love the taste.
Twosome: Stones?-- Monoliths? Pebbles? Do you use any of these in decorating? Heck, we'll even count marbles in vases!
When I owned my own home and had a huge flower garden, I used lots of pebbles. Now that I'm an apartment dweller, I don't even have marbles in vases.
Threesome: and herbal remedies-- Hey, there's a good one: do you have any herbal remedies for us to try? Anything?
My grandparents would go to the doctor as a last resort after trying all their own remedies, most of which worked surprisingly. Here are a few I still use:
If you have a canker sore, drink a glass of buttermilk. It gets rid of the acid in your stomach which causes canker sores.
Give your dog a garlic pill every day ( or put 1/2 clove garlic in his food) and he will not have fleas. This works!
Wet tobacco will take the sting out of a wasp or bee sting.

Heads or Tails
Heads or Tails is back and I am so happy about it. This week is Old or New. I choose old, because I feel old this morning.

This is one of my most prized possessions. It is a sugar bowl that belonged to my great grandmother, Mollie Shook. It is the Virginia Rose pattern. It's traveled with me in all my moves, and so far not a scratch on it. I do not use it as a sugar bowl. It is in the hutch behind the glass door to be admired, but what do you think I use it for?

TMI TUESDAY
1) Do you have/ever had any dating or sex superstitions? (Wear 'lucky jeans' on first date, always light a vanilla candle, etc.) If so, what are they?
I have never had any of these superstitions. Hmmm, maybe I should have had and things would be different.
2) If you were stranded on the old deserted island, and a genie appeared who could only grant you one wish -- to bring one of the following people to join you, who would it be?
- your spouse/significant other XXXXX I would have to bring hubby to the island!
- an unrequited love or some person you've had a crush on
- an old/past love
- your best friend
3) Tell us "weather or not" you're in the mood -- how does rain, snow, sleet, scorching heat, sweltering humidity etc. affect your libido.
Well, having sex while rains hits the windows or roof is a definite turn-on, but the heat things are not.
4) Are you a crying drunk, an angry drunk, a 'I'm drunk, let's screw' sort of a drinker? (And, if you do not drink -- which one of those things is the reason?)
I do not drink, well maybe a wine cooler or dacqueri while on vacation or on special occasions. My dad was a drunk, and I saw what it did to my Mom as he was a 'screw anything' kind of drunk.
5) Who turns you on the most & why:
the activist
the author
the care-giver/healer (nurse, doctor, masseuse, herbalist, chiropractor etc.)
the comedian
the educator (professor, teacher, mentor etc.)
the model
the musician.... XXX Always had a thing for musicians!
the politician
the scientist
The activist would be too busy with everything else, the author would always be in front of their manuscript, If I need a caregiver, I won't be having relations with them, Comedian might laugh at me instead of with me, I do the educating myself, The model is too caught up in himself, the politician....well, Bill Clinton, maybe.....the scientist would be a nerd. So I'll stick with the musician!
Bonus (as in optional): Looking back, what's the one thing you've done which was supposed to be erotic, but didn't quite work out?
Well, I think it's what I didn't do. Came home from work a few years ago after a very very stressful day to find hubby had cooked dinner, and all I saw was candles lit on the table. I made a mistake I can not take back. I turned the lights on and threw a typical Sandy fit! He never fights with me, just listens, but the look in his eyes is something I will never forget. I ruined what I know he thought would be a great night, and he's never done anything like that again.
Also, after watching a video once, ex and I tried ice cubes. OK, ice may be erotic to some, but to me, ice and sex should not be in the same sentence! Enough said.

Feeling Better...finally
Wow, it's been a rough week. I've been sick for what seems like weeks, but it was only 5 days. Two of those days, I never crawled out of bed, except for potty breaks. Today I feel much better though, let's hope it lasts.

Today is : National Organize Your Home Day!
So in honor of that, I am going to start doing just that. How do you organize everything? Know any good websites to visit on organizing? Tell me your organizing secrets!
I found this really neat battery keeper
on Amazon for only $1.99 and I have batteries all over the house, never to be found when I need them, so I ordered two of them. It was 75% off, so I think I got a deal.
Looking for many ways to store things, so please give me ideas!

MANIC MONDAY
1. What was the last thing you regret buying?
I regret buying the living room furniture I bought. It was NOT the set I wanted, and I have wished every day since I got it that I had spent the extra money and got the one I wanted.
2. If you had a crystal ball that could tell you the truth about any one thing you wished to know about yourself, life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know?
I would like to know if this health crisis I'm in will pass, and if my finances will ever get better.
3. How do you know when you're in love?
For me, even at this old age of 53, I still get that 'giddy' feeling when I'm in love, that silly ear to ear grin that just won't go away. You just KNOW!

I've decided to join BLOG 365. It's a very fast growing site for people who blog daily. Check it out here, free to join of course! I'm trying to commit to posting every day. Since I am sick, I will post several times a day on occasion to make up for when I cannot post.
*********************
Also found a new meme for Mondays called Mana’o Monday. It is a weekly writing challenge and today is the first day. My post will be added for that meme on my stories blog later today. Let's all try to help her get a good start.

Also found another cool thing - Are you a List maker? Determined to get your life together? or Just want to have some fun?
The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
From the 1001 Day Project site
Start a list of 101 things you want to accomplish in 1001 days from the day you start. If that sounds overwhelming, start with a list of 10 things and add to it as you go. Be sure to mark the things you accomplish with Complete or finished. I will be working on mine this week. Here a a few examples : 101 in 1001 - The ToDo list for Gary LaPointe and Can you Hear me Now?
Even if you decide not to do this, the blogs are fascinating! At least check it out.
************************
Last but not least, can you explain to me what an Entrecard is. I hear this term a lot, but not sure what exactly it is. Thanks....... Have a great Monday!
