Voice of the Past
The voice sounded so sweet and loving
Every word I wanted to hear.
You are my angel, you were put on this earth just for me.
The voice gets on one knee.
The voice is always angry
Everything is always my fault
The voice is controlling my world
It takes away my soul.
The voice scares me
bruises, broken bones, heartache
The voice has taken my spirit
the only thing I had left.
The voice finally goes away
leaving my world broken and shattered.
Finally, a ray of hope
that I will never the the voice again.
