BAD NEWS

Well, I got the results back from the doctor today. I have NASH disease, which is the non alcolholic version of cirrocis of the liver. My dad died from cirrosis but he was a drunk. I don't drink, so its not fair. Going into hospital later this afternnon, not sure how long I'll be there.

Thanks to all my blog friends for your support. I'll let you know when I get back home.
Much blogLove, Sandy

Monday's A Bitch: Dream On

Monday's A Bitch : Dream on

1. Describe the most recent dream you can remember:
I dreamed my 12 yr old granddaughter Kelsi spent the nght with me, which really is a dream because she won't spend the night over here. She completely wallpapered my kitchen in red Jonas Brothers posters during the night and was so excited the next morning. Weird dream!

2. Do you believe in the idea that images in your dreams are symbols for things in your life? For example, some believe that hair in dreams represents sexual urges in life.
Well, I've never heard that example before, but yes I do believe that the images are symbols. I do believe also that dreams have meaning in our lives.

3. Do you find that there are conditions of sleep where you are more likely to dream than others? For example, sleeping in an unfamiliar bed, going to bed drunk, napping, etc.?
I seldom dream, but I've noticed when I'm very tired, I dream more.

4. Who is the most random person ever to appear in a dream you've had?
I dreamed my dead mother in law was sitting on a city bus talking to me, and she kept telling me to call my son. I woke up and called him, and he had just had burglers at his door and was laying in the floor with his gun beside him afraid they were coming in. (The neighbors came home and scared them away). I don't recall dreaming of her any other time than that one.

5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? (A lucid dream, also known as a conscious dream, is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. )
Yes I have had a lucid dream before. They are usually scary and I wake up frightened.

Camera Critters

Camera Critters Misty Dawn has started a new Sunday meme called Camera Critters. All you have to do each Sunday is post a photo that you have taken of an animal - any animal!

Photobucket These are my babies, Dino and Rowdy. They are real brothers from the same litter but were born two days apart. Their mom had 4 kittens on Friday night three years ago. All day the next day, she had nothing to do with them. We did not know what to do so called the vet. The vet told us if she wasn't feeding them by Sunday morning to bring them all in. Sunday morning she dropped a HUGE dead kitten in the bathroom floor. Bless her heart, she had been labor all that time. Behind the dead kitten, out pops Dino. He was patiently waiting to be born and I call him my miracle kitty.

Senior Sunday

THE JOYS OF BEING OVER 40

Kidnappers are not very interested in you.
In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first.
No one expects you to run into a burning building.
People call at 9 p.m. and ask, "Did I wake you?"
People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.
There's nothing left to learn the hard way.
Things you buy now won't wear out.
You can eat dinner at 4:00 p.m.
You enjoy hearing about other people's operations.
You get into a heated argument about pension claims.
You have a party and the neighbors don't even realize it.
You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge.
You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks into the room.
You sing along with the elevator music.
Your eyes won't get much worse.
Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off.
Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the National Weather Service.
Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.
Your supply of brain cells is finally down to a manageable size.
You can't remember who sent you this list.
The world was made round so that we would never be able to see too far down the road.

Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house they went for Grandma's birthday. When they arrived little Johnny said to Grandma, "Happy Birthday" and then proceeded to ask her how old she was.
Grandma immediately answered, "I'm 39 and holding."
To that, little Johnny asked, "Okay so hold old would you be if you let go?"
