Grandma/Kenzie day
Today was a very special day. Kenzie and I planned a Grandma/Kenzie day, and we had so much fun I think we will do this every month. Just me and her, having fun. She is 7.
First she made cupcakes and needed very little supervision, I might add.
Then at the end of afternoon, she gave me her own version of a "french manicure" which I will wear with pride, mistakes and all.
To those of you who have grandchildren, I urge you to spend an afternoon with just one, if you don't already. Kenzie is the middle child of two sisters, and sometimes needs that extra little bit of attention. Let's face it, Grandmas need attention too. Next month we are going to do a craft project. I need ideas!!!!

Have you ever played a practical joke on anyone? If so, what did you do and who was your victim?
When my friend Dolores turned 47, another friend and I drove to her place of employment and decorated her car. We filled it completely with black balloons, wrote all over the windows things like 'Dolores is 47-half way to Heaven', added tons of streamers, etc. It looked like a parade float. We thought she would love it because she had done that sort of thing to others. We were WRONG! She didn't speak to us for almost two weeks, and then she was still upset. But we are still friends 17 years later. (She still doesn't think it was funny).

Whatever I have on hand, but I have lots of lotions, probably about 8 bottles of different sorts.

Cut up chocolate cake into pieces. Put in a casserole. Add some nuts, tiny colored marshmallows and some great ice cream. Cover with caramel syrup. Sounds YUMMY!!!!!!!

When my kitchen is messy, like now.

Questions of the Week #7 (my first time)1. Can you write with both hands?
No way.... I do good to write legibly with one. Oh , does typing count?
2. Are you superstitious?
not really
3. What would be your dream job?
Well, I'm kind of beyond that stage, but I always wanted to be an elementary school teacher.
4. Do you dream often?
Very seldom, but when I do, it is usually like being in a novel or a soap opera.
5. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Nutty Coconut from Baskin Robbins!! Yummy!
6. Did you ever sneak out when you were younger?
Once, and my Mom was sitting on the porch waiting for me when I got home. Probably why it only happened once.
7. Have you ever fallen in public?
Yes, I actually slipped on spilled baby oil at Wal Mart and broke my fall with my elbow, which decided to break completely into. Also broke my upper arm. Still can't straighten that arm out completely! That was about eighteen years ago, they paid for everything, and no I did not sue.
8. What is your favorite animal?
I'm a cat person, simply because they are more self sufficient. Unlike my dog, who has to be walked, exercised, bathed, and kenneled if we decide to go on an overnight trip... the cats take care of themselves while we are gone. We only have to have someone come in and feed them.
9. As a child what was scarier…the closet or under the bed?
Under the bed for sure!
10. Have you ever got your tongue stuck on a Popsicle?
Yes, many times!!

My granddaughter Kelsi's birthday is today! Her party is Saturday.
3. Have you ever attended any costumes or themed parties?
Yes, I have been to many Halloween parties and dressed up as many things. One of the best included a ghostly hayride through the woods at night, and a haunted house also. Great party.

During those twenty years, Pluto is closer to the Sun than Neptune. While it is closer to the Sun, Pluto has an atmosphere.
