The weekend so far----

Last night we went over to the kids house. They are redoing the girl's bedroom, and boy is it ever lime green. We helped get the furniture put back in, but in the meantime, Lily decided it was fun to ride her plushy elephant. She showed out for a good thirty minutes and we had a lot of fun.

Today, Regina, Lily and I went to Burlinton coat Factory and bought hot pink curtains to go in there with beads hanging off the valance. Their comforters are lime green and hot pink polka dots. They are at their other grandma's out of state this week for spring break so it will be a Surprise! Let's hope they like it. It has rained for two days straight here.Hope you are also having an awesome weekend.
Also, today is dandelion day!!!! Look out Allergies!

Letters- Day 5

Dear Rain,
ok, I know how badly we need the rain, but did you have to stay here all day and rain out the Dogwood Festival? Regina and I wanted to go so badly. I'm sure I'll forgive you tomorrow, but for today, you just suck! Sandy

Letters- Day 3

Dear Upstairs New Neighbor,

My husband works graveyards and sleeps all day. Why do you have to play your stereo with base as loud as it will go, and why is it in your bedroom? Am I the only one complaining? I don't mind rap music.... even got a kick out of your dirty drawers on the floors song, but why must it be so loud? With all that thumping noise you can't hear most of the lyrics anyway.
And why do you have to vacuum your floor at midnight? Can you not do it earlier? It sounds like a freight train on my ceiling. I understand you are young and this is your first apartment, but you have neighbors now, and you are not starting off on the right foot with us. I put a note on your door. The landlady put a note on your door. What's next? calling the cops? or calling your father who I hear is a minister?
As a final thought- "TURN DOWN THE STEREO!!!!!!!!!"
Thank you,
your downstairs neighbor

Letters- Day 1

I am participating in Nablopomo for the month of April and the theme is letters.

Dear Thief,

After leaving my beloved insulated coffee mug at the vet's office yesterday, I drove all the way back to pick it up. But you had already taken it. It was the best one I'd ever had and was a gift from my friend who is no longer with us. I wonder how you made the decision to just take it instead of giving it to the girl at the desk. Since we were the only two people there, she would have gladly returned it to me. I guess one has to be a thief to think like a thief. I'm so glad I don't think that way.

Anyway, I could say I hope you burn your tongue, or something bad, but instead I hope you take care of it and use it daily as I did. Enjoy it, it's yours now. Just remember, what goes around comes around. Karma is a bitch!

Sincerely,
Sandy (coffee mug owner)

Feeling much better finally....
