Letters- Day 11

Dear everyone,

Have you had the chance to watch 'The Last Lecture'? I just watched it twice, the one that was on Primetime the other night was first. I cried through the whole thing. Not just little tears, but big ugly cries. It really touched home. Then I watched the whole lecture on youtube here . There are 10 parts.

What would you say if you knew you were going to die and had a chance to sum up everything that was most important to you?

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch, who is dying from pancreatic cancer, gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving talk, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals. For more, visit www.cmu.edu/randyslecture. You can order FREE the video version at itunes U.

I cannot imagine changing my way of thinking at this late date, but I intend to try. I encourage everyone who hasn't seen this to watch it in some version when you get a chance. It will make you cry, laugh, and wonder why you cannot think that way. Over 10 million people have downloaded it to date.
Sandy
