Friday Fill-Ins

1. Oh, I can't wait until I have a _liver transplant_____.

5. _Fake people and waiting in long lines______ is really high up on my list of pet peeves.

6. The last thing I thought of before I went to bed was _my granddaughter Lily _.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to _staying in and watching a movie ____, tomorrow my plans include _paying bills and going to the grocery store and cooking with hubby____ and Sunday, I want to _go to a new church and then to the park____!

The sun is starting to shine in my world again.


I have so neglected my blogs lately. Some days I just want to do nothing! Had way too many of those days lately. I'm trying (with no luck) to get someone local to take me back and forth to Atlanta several times in the next two months. They had a restructure where hubby works, and he is on straight days for the next few months. Not good timing at all. But at least they kept him, as several got the boot. If all else fails, I will put an ad in the local classifieds.



And I have almost completely stayed away from my cooking blog, because the thought of food just nauseated me. But..... I am feeling better. Still swelling again though.

Sorry I haven't been entrecarding much, and although I have done some memes, I haven't been visiting the blogs of others. But that will change now. Hubby will be off on Sat and Sun so probably won't be online much those days. Anyway, I am trying to catch up on everything, even bills.... and none of it is easy. But trying is my first step. Thursday 13 / "N"

Thursday 13 This week is 'N' week in getting to know me better.

1. I have 3 Nieces- Sarah, Samantha, and Scarlett

2. I have no problem at all saying NO to people. (Hubby finds this hard to do)

3. Since I was diagnosed, I take a lot of Naps.

4. My favorite Number is 22.

5. I can be both Naughty and Nice.

6. I am not a Night person. I'm a morning girl.

7. I was born in North Carolina and lived there til I was four. Still have a lot of relatives there.

8. I have a gallon jar that 'used to be' full of Nickels. Hubby spends them in the machines at work.

9. I think I must have the world's rudest upstairs Neighbor. They throw their cigarette butts on my deck and in my bushes all the time, and constantly play their base.

10. I love Nuts, especially pecans and cashews.

11. I am 'usually' a very Neat and organized person.

12. I adore Nine West shoes and handbags.

13. Show me a Noodle and I'll eat it... love pasta.

Getting to know me better- "M"

1. McKenzie - me

2. Mom - me again

3. Mailbox - the thing that sits outside my house and is always empty except for bills.

4. Music - always makes me smile.

5. Movies - I have been a movie buff since I was a child. My grandma owned a beauty salon downtown and a block from the theater. It babysit every Saturday for years.

6. Money - that thing I no longer have any of.

7. Magic - Life is magic; sometimes black majic, but still majic.

8. Moon - Ever danced under the moonlight? Try it. The memory is priceless.

9. Marshmallows - I must be the only American to hate marshmallows in all shapes and forms.

10. Milkshakes - Like these way too much!

11. MySpace - Started blogging there a few years ago, but it just wasn't for me. Still keep my page though to keep up with old friends and out of state family.

12. Mickey Mouse - lives where I want to go. Been to Disneyland many times but never to Disney World. Would love to go.

I live in an apartment, so I have ugly cheapo white blinds. But I also have curtains.

I'm retired so I no longer need to hit the snooze. When I was working, I hit it once.
