Thursday Memes

Tell me Thursday
Telling the story behind the photo you posted yesterday for Wordless Wednesday.

My WW yesterday was a night shot taken last week from our balcony. It was snowing like crazy, and I had not seen snow in over ten years (doesn't snow in Los Angeles or Phoenix). I was so excited, and hubby was more of a kid about than I was. The weather channel kept saying we would get up to three inches. What you see is what we got. It left as quickly as it came. All the towns around us got a lot, but not us. It was beautiful while it lasted.

3X Thursday Friends

1. Do you have very many friends? Do you hang out with them a lot? If not, why not?
I used to have so many friends that I couldn't count them all. After my divorce about twelve years ago, I only had three friends left from that time in my life. Out of those three, haven't kept up with any of them. Now I have two 'real' friends, my hubby and our best friend Jerry. I don't trust easily, and it's hard for me to let people in.

2. When/if you have issues with your friends, do you bring it up to them? How? If not, why not?
Real friends can discuss anything, so if I have a real problem, we discuss it. I don't sweat the small stuff. Life is too short for that.

3. Do you still have friends from long ago? Do you still talk to them? If not, why not? If so, are you still close with them? Why/why not?
This goes back to #1. When you get a divorce friendships are lost. Some friends side for one reason or another. Then when I spent five years with the devil, I lost almost everything- my family and friends. He saw to that. So, no I really don't keep up with them, even though I should have. Geeez, I have issues!

The Thursday Threesome
::Harlem Globetrotters Basketball::

Onesome: Harlem-- Nights? The Apollo Theater? If we came to visit your area, where would you recommend we sightsee?
Underground Atlanta, the Atlanta aquariam

Twosome: (The) Globetrotters-- can be quite a show! Have you ever seen them? Are there any "show" teams you like to watch perform? Bands?
Yes. I've seen them twice. The 1st time was when the kids were young. They loved it, and I was impressed with their skills. They interact well with the audience. I saw them again with my five year demon, and no it wasn't fun.

Threesome: Basketball-- is in full swing, and March Madness isn't all that far away? Any opinions on either NBA or NCAA teams? ...or is it all downhill after the Packers lost?
I always hated basketball, even in high school. Sorry.
