I've been thinking a lot about my Mom lately. I still miss her so very much. She has been gone 7 years already.Do you ever look back at old photos and try to remember the story behind the picture? In most of these, I was so young that I don't remember it. My mom also looked so young in these. She had naturally curly, almost unruly hair, her whole life and was covered from top to bottom in freckles. My sister is just like that. The only thing I get from her is her hands, and her strength. My mom was living in turmoil with my alcoholic dad when these were made.
I think for my Sunday post, I'll write a post about my mom in my Sandy's Stories blog. I'd love to hear about your mom as well.

ahhhh scrapbooking is so fun-when you take your time. Mom memories are special. Capture all that you can before you start forgetting them.
I came here for WW but saw this post and just wanted to reach thru cyberspace and give you a (((HUG))). I lost my Mom almost 4 years ago and I know how much it hurts.... time never takes away the pain, does it? The only thing I have realized is that with time, the moments of sadness get farther apart....
Beautiful collage. I lost my mom in 1995, and I still miss her. It gets easier but doesn't go away. I am thrilled when I discover anything about me that reminds me of her. Hugs to you!
