In honor of this I need HELP>
I've had the same boring hairdo since I think the 70s.... So tell me... what can I do with it. How can I get it cut so that is is little or no maintenance, cause I got it like that! Any ideas apprciated... no bad remarks please..my self confidence doesn't need the stress.

Short hair is easy to fix. Mine is short and without bangs. I wash, blow dry and am out the door. So, I would vote for a layered short do. Good luck sweetie. It's hard to cut your hair after it's been the same for so long. :)
I say get it straightened. Maybe even dye it darker? im no fashion person but thats what id day :)
When I would be your hairdresser I would recommend to cut it straight under the ears.
You have wonderful straight hair, and it will form itself around your head.
Just wash and let it airdry.
